gets Video-on-Demand trial
Columbia TriStar and Optus are delivering near-video-on-demand (NVOD) movies for the Optus iTV commercial trial. Initially 50 NVOD channels will offer movie titles at 15 and 30 minute repeat intervals. (see press release)

Learndirect available on broadband video-on-demand service
HomeChoice, London’s broadband video-on-demand service, have added learndirect to its programming, subscribers in the London borough of Newham can already contact their council and local NHS services through their TV sets, using a remote control and now learndirect information has been added through a new partnership with dktv and UfI Ltd, enabling the promotion of learndirect through broadband, print, TV and the internet.
