Within the NTL digital cable franchise area in the UK viewers have able to access a reference section within the interactive services of NTL Knowledge. There is a reference section including the Hutchinson Educational Encyclopaedia with a search facility.

These are the three options available at in the NTL Reference Section.

Once the Educational Encyclopedia option has been chosen
it is possible to do a key word search.

Searching for information on Lisbon.

One item has been found from the search using the keyword “Lisbon”.

The results of the keyword search on “Lisbon” resulted in a text-based article which can be scrolled down by selecting the down arrow key in the bottom right hand side of the screen and a picture has also been found which when selected can be enlarged. Note also the dynamic advertisement (in this case on betting) at the top of the screen in the NTL banner that can also be selected if desired.
