Product Discovery Technology for Online-Shops

pjb Associates is working to develop the business of a company who has a patented product discovery technology tool that when applied to an online-shop can increase the chances of a shopper making a decision rapidly about which product is appropriate to their needs. The tool uses sliders to enable the shopper to select which attributes of a product are most important to them and then visually orders the products.

Personalisation and Recommendation Tools for E-commerce

pjb Associates are working with a San Francisco based company to develop their business in the UK and ultimately the rest of Europe. The company was has developed some sophisticated next generation Personalisation and Recommendation Tools that when applied to an online shop will increase their sales. The company was started the former Head of Amazon’s Personalisation Research and Development Team.

Next Generation Ad Server Solution

pjb Associates are working with a US company to develop their business in the primarily in the UK and Ireland, but also in other parts of the world. InPage Inc. has a next generation Ad serving solution that offers a full range of display media for web, mobile, video and InGame, while including a niche product that injects ads into the “latent” time between Internet pages.

The company has offices in South Africa, research and development facilities in India and agencies across the world.

KidsCo TV E-shop

Creating and running the online e-shop in multiple languages for KidsCo TV - part of a an international children's entertainment brand founded by Canadian broadcaster Corus Entertainment's Nelvana Enterprises, American-based producer DIC Entertainment, and European broadcaster Sparrowhawk Media Group in April 2007. KidsCo was founded to be a "fourth voice" in the realm of children's entertainment, currently dominated by Viacom (owner of Nickelodeon), Disney (owner of Disney Channel and Jetix), and Time Warner (owner of Cartoon Network, Looney Tunes, and DC Comics).

Restructuring of the Greek Educational Broadcast Service

pjb Associates assisted a Greek company in conducting a survey and study aimed at restructuring the Geek Educational Broadcast Service run the agency funded by the Greek government National Education Department.

Video Search and IPTV Business Development

Working with a Cambridge-based web design and marketing agency to create a new business focusing on IPTV - broadband Internet-based global TV services utilising their technology platform and unique video search tool facility called Doovle. This involved identifying business development opportunities with TV and video production companies, specialist service providers like sports activities and niche content providers railways and aviation as well as exploiting new opportunities for achieve and back catalogue video content.

One successful outcome resulted in the company utilising their search inside video tool and developing an online interactive video portal - on the history of DNA for the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. View it....

Delivering video-rich content through Wi-Max

pjb Associates provided advice on current developments in the area of broadband TV and IPTV to a consortium of companies planning to offer an "all-in-one-box" solution delivered through Wi-Max technology.
