Apple recently announced at LILIS - the Lifelong Learning for the Information Society that it intended to extend its ACOT - Apple Computers of Tomorrow initiative to Europe. ACOT has now been running for ten years in the United States and has gained a body of knowledge relating to using information technology for learning in schools. Building on this knowledge, the initiative will be devloped at various pilot locations across Europe.
